The Actuarial Foundation Launches Redesigned Web Site
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. March 20, 2009, – The Actuarial Foundation is pleased to announce the launchg of its redesigned Web site, coinciding with the Foundation’s 15th Anniversary. The new site enables users to easily access content through improved navigation, provides a more branded, contemporary look and feel, and tells a visual story that imbues its purpose in preparing for tomorrow’s possibilities through education.”
In addition to celebrating its 15 Anniversary, the new Web site:

Shares stories of the Foundation, which has provided more than $4 million in grants supporting math programs and projects reaching millions of kids including the award winning turn-key program Shake, Rattle & Roll;

Makes consumer education materials more accessible to continue helping thousands of adults make informed decisions, particularly in these economic times;

Stewards research to continue expanding the profession’s body of knowledge by offering research grants and access to its published research, and information on its awards and prizes; and

Directs deserving students to the many available scholarships to aid them in their educational pursuits towards a career in the actuarial profession.
